Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad invites suitably qualified Malaysian to apply for the position of: 

TECHNICAL ASSISTANT  ( Grade J05AG07/J05G08)

Responsibilities

v      To manage and supervise a team of technical staff to carry out maintenance task;

v      To assist Senior Engineer/Engineer in the day to day operations within the department concerned;

v      Performs related duties as assigned by Senior Engineer / Engineer.

Requirements

External  Candidates

v   Below 35 years of age;

v   Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronic/Civil or any equivalent qualification;

v    Related working experience in an advantage

v    Posses good written and communication skills.

Internal  Candidates

v    At least 3 years experience as Technician in job grade J06G09/Tradesman K1/ K2(Mechanical/Electrical) in job grade R01G09; or

v    5 years experience as Technician in job grade J07G10/ Tradesmen K2 (Mechanical/Electrical) in job grade R02G09; or

v      Possess a Diploma  in related field.

Essential Skills & Qualities

v      Good personality and ability to uphold a good workshop management.

v      Capable of working independently  and pro active in most situation

v      Possessed strong technical and analytical skills;

v      Strong written and oral communication skills with an ability  to interact with all levels within the company;

v      Ability to independently plan and organize one’s own activities;

v      Excellent in both written and spoken English and Bahasa;

v      Computer literate and capable handling Maintenance Mgt. Information System (MMIS)

v      Wilingness to be stationed in any locations within the company.
