A Distinctive Way...

KTM Intercity is the brand name for a group of diesel-hauled intercity train services in Peninsular Malaysia, Southern Region, Singapore and Thailand operated by Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB).
A few operate solely along the East Coast line between Tumpat and Gemas and on to Singapore.
Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) train was launched on 11 April 2021 by the Minister of Transport Malaysia, Datuk Seri Ir. Dr. Wee Ka Siong at Pasir Mas Station, Kelantan. This train was introduced to replace the existing KTM Intercity conventional train for Tumpat – Kuala Lipis route.
The DMU train is equipped with modern, comfortable and user-friendly facilities. Among the facilities available in on-board are cluster seats, LED screens, power sockets, prayer room, toilet, bistro and parcel storage space. The train also has disabled-friendly facilities; seats and toilet that meet the needs of disabled people.
